Recruiting Roundup: Hoosier State Prospects On the Rise

Spring recruiting is in full swing, with several prospects in Indiana seeing their recruiting blow up, or some landing their first offers. Here are five Hoosier State prospects who have been on a role over the past two weeks.

Henry Everts picked up his first offer from Miami-Ohio. The big outside linebacker for Westfield, who has a prototypical frame for his position, is starting to get the attention he rightfully deserves. This is only the beginning for Evert, who has also visited Notre Dame and Indiana over the past couple of weeks. Everts also plays tight end and wide receiver, only adding to his value.

Class of 2028 Lawrence North quarterback Darian Prather is on the verge of a breakout season, and college coaches are already taking note of his talents. The rising junior and dual-threat quarterback who can make plays both through the air and with his legs picked up an offer from Ohio earlier in the month, and most-recently, Miami University (Ohio). Prather is a big-time returning starter in 6A ball, and if Lawrence North is to reach a state championship, the multi-sport athlete (he also plays basketball and runs track) will be a big reason why.

Prather's teammate at Lawrence North, Ethan Abdulraheem, is a prospect the staff at Lawrence North is very excited about. Earning his first offer from Miami University (Ohio), he is a legitimate downfield threat as a wide receiver who can stretch the field, snatch the ball out of the air, win one-on-one contested catches, and has great long speed to give opposing defensive coordinators plenty of headaches.

Leslie Woodson continues to see his recruiting grow. Expect Power 4 teams to take a look at him at his school's upcoming college day as he has earned offers from Toledo, Northern Illinois, and Western Michigan over the past couple of weeks. Woodson's size, arm length and athleticism are very appealing for college coaches. Woodson is a very disruptive edge prospect with a high ceiling, great in pursuit, strong as a pass rusher, stout against the run and a good block shedder who plays with good bend.
