Staying low in his back peddle, Eric is able to turn and break quickly on the ball to cut off the crossing receiver and bat it down. A safety that closes in on the edge with speed, Eric is a technical tackler that can stifle the run any time they try to take it to the perimeter. Accumulating 63 tackles, an interception and a forced fumble last season, Eric is a worry for any opponent’s offensive scheme.

With 28 tackles and 5 PBU in 2022, Eric made his presence know early on in his high school career. With flawless technique, Eric has quick and choppy feet. His back peddle looks like its been practiced and perfected over many years of training. When the ball is released, Eric gets his hips around quickly and breaks on the ball. He has a good combination of speed and size, able to go stride to stride with most receivers and deliver a hit at the line when needed.
