Showcasing Sure-Bet Shore Prospects Set to Make Waves

With the West Jersey Football League sweeping all five public football group titles and the prowess of North Jersey's elite football programs, the Shore Conference sometimes gets overlooked in the fray. However, make no mistake about it: the Shore Conference does more than hold their own.   Below are a handful of 2027 graduates from Shore Conference teams that were recently ranked, and are now primed emerge with pivotal or expanded roles for their teams as they enter their senior seasons. Nassin McMillon is the contemporary iteration of exactly that for the Scarlet Fliers. A slot/safety type, McMillon reads and reacts to what is happening in front of him well. Also serving as Neptune's primary offensive weapon, as a running back McMillon plants his foot and gets vertical well, often arriving to spots just in the knick of time before the defender. It seems as though the Scarlet Fliers work to get the ball into his hands any way they can. As a slot receiver, McMillon can turn upfield on a sweep without slowing down or losing a step at all, tightly turning corners in the process.     In terms of defending, [player_tooltip player_id='1903801' first='Luke' last='Barry'] is the type of linebacker/edge player that has the potential to play all over in the box. Having taken reps at Mike, he is a big body that can clog passing lanes and also stuff the box. Offensively, Barry finds himself as a tight end capable of making sliding catches who also has the speed to separate at the second level from some matchups. His biggest asset on offense is that he is a size mismatch for most and has soft, reliable hands.     Another linebacker making today's coverage is Holmdel's [player_tooltip player_id='2044313' first='Joseph' last='Berardi']. Based off of how he wraps low when tackling and spins off of down blocks when slanted, film shows us that Berardi might have been playing football since he was a youngster. Foot speed is a part of his game too, as we see Berardi beat running backs to the sideline. When engaged at the line of scrimmage, we see him execute the arm-over, and back, to play gap-and-a-half. The single thing that is most inspiring on Berardi's film is just exactly how excited he is to play the game of football and make plays all over the field.     A two-way lineman out of Monmouth Regional, [player_tooltip player_id='1054160' first='Jaden' last='Hall'] looks to patrol the trenches this coming season, his senior. On defense, Hall is an interior lineman that is quick enough to slip under blocks, stack behind the offensive lineman, and make plays in the backfield. Hall also does a great job fighting off of reach blocks with power, popping open the outside shoulder to set an edge within the interior. Lastly, he sheds blocks and pursues down the line when backside well. Hall plugs the middle and does not moved easily, while also swimming low hats to penetrate the backfield.     The future is now for Rumson-Fair Haven quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1882874' first='Casey' last='Moore']. The owner of impressive raw arm strength, Moore can launch the ball 50 yards, rolling out against his body mind you, without setting his feet. It seems as though he is asked to move around a lot. When rolling out, Moore slow plays it, which allows himself an opportunity to turn up and flash a different speed when needed to make something out of nothing. When rolling out to his right we see Moore uncorck an extremely accurate ball. Capable of touch throws, we see this on display when targeting receivers over the middle, providing them time and space to run free for YAC.
