Burr was making plays throughout the night. I was constantly hearing his name called out on the loud speakers. Measures in at 6’2 170-pounds, he has 28 total tackles (12 solo, 16 assisted), 1.5 TFL, 1 FF, and 1 INT throughout the season. Burr has good athletic ability due to his very good jumping, good acceleration, speed, and change of direction. Good read and reaction skills. Solid back pedal. Burr does a great job coming down into the box assisting in run support. He’s a strong tackler with good strength stopping the ball carrier in their tracks. He’s a defensive back with size and tackling ability to impact both the pass and run game.

Burr has established himself as a productive and versatile safety who impacts the game in multiple phases. He combines speed with physicality, showing the versatility to be in coverage while also stepping into the box to support against the run. Burr shows strong instincts, reading his keys and reacting quickly, which puts him in position to make plays on the football often. His three interceptions and 11 pass breakups shows his ability to disrupt passing lanes and challenge receivers. In run support, Burr brings a physical presence, meeting ball carriers with force and limiting additional yardage. He finished the season with 90 total tackles and eight tackles for loss, demonstrating his ability to contribute consistently. His combination of production and skill set suggests a higher ceiling, and with increased exposure this offseason, Burr has the tools to attract Division I attention.
