Ballard is a prime breakout candidate. Measuring in at 6’2 160-pounds. He went 58/131 for 714 yards, 44.3% completion rate, 5 TDs, 1 INT, 75 carries for 279 yards and 4 touchdowns. He has good athletic ability due to very good balance, good speed, change of direction, and acceleration. Ballard maintains very good throw power and a fluid release. He has the arm to make all the throws needed. Good ball placement skills. Ballard has good pocket presence too. Will shift out of pressure or scramble for the first down. When he scrambles and starts to stumble, regains composure and gains the first down. Ballard keeps the ball safe when throwing it limiting turnovers. One thing to improve is being more consistent with his accuracy. Once he puts it all together, he’ll be even more of a force to reckon with.
