Tuesday Takeover- New 2027s On Our List

Welcome back!   In this week's Tuesday Takeover, we're highlighting some of the new talented 2027s we added to our list this week.   Make sure to watch some of their film below- they're all coming off huge years and need to be on everyone's list going into this fall.    [player_tooltip player_id='1937332' first='Tymori' last='Player'] is a talented ATH from Montgomery Catholic who made a ton of big plays out wide last season.   "Player has spent time and produced out wide and out of the backfield. He's a talented WR who consistently runs good routes, gains impressive separation, and secures passes all over the field.   Player uses his athleticism to a similar effect when he's coming out of the backfield. He has good speed, can cut and change his direction with the ball, and has excellent vision in the open field, which helps him make the most out of every opportunity. I'm excited to see him this upcoming season. He has a big year ahead."   Player has put together some really impressive tape from this past season. If you haven't watched him before, make sure you take a look at some of his film below.      [player_tooltip player_id='2131607' first='Isaiah' last='Gray'] is a talented defender from Opelika who's made a huge impact on their defensive front.   "Gray is a really well-rounded EDGE who finds a ton of success with his pass rush and run defense. At 6'4 245, Gray has impressive speed, power, and bend he uses to slip behind the line of scrimmage and create plays for loss.   It's really impressive watching how quickly he explodes off the line and gets to the ball. He's a serious threat on passing downs, especially- QBs are constantly forced to get the ball out quickly with him in pursuit. I think he has a huge year in store this upcoming season, he showed a ton of great things this past fall."   Gray has a ton of great traits in his game; see for yourself in his film below. You won't wanna miss out!      [player_tooltip player_id='2117318' first='Ethan' last='Johnson'] is a lockdown DB from Ramsay who's coming off an impressive season in his team's secondary last fall.   "At 6'2 178, Johnson has the size, speed, and physicality to dominate offenses in several ways. He's quick on his feet, highly reactive, and can create an impact out in coverage and against the run. I'm really impressed with his tackling, he's great in pursuit and can easily cover ground quickly to create stops near the LOS for little gain.   Johnson does an excellent job using his size and hands to his advantage when in coverage. He blankets opposing WRs and has impressive timing and ball skills he uses to consistently create tight windows and break up passes. Johnson's due for a big senior season this fall, we're going to have to watch this Ramsay defense."   Do yourself a favor and watch some of Johnson's film below. He's a talented player with a big year ahead this fall, we're going to have to watch out.      [player_tooltip player_id='2148767' first='Tre' last='Stone'] is another talented Opelika defender who's been getting noticed this offseason.   "Stone is an excellent run defender who gets downhill, closes up gaps, and consistently meets the ball carrier at or behind the line of scrimmage to create stops for little gains or losses. It's especially impressive watching him on the goalline- he won't let anything get in his way from creating a stop, he's got a great motor and impressive physicality to his game.   On top of that, Stone can match up well in coverage too. He's quick on his feet, is highly instinctive, and does a great job tracking the ball- constatnly putting himself in good positions to create plays. I'm surprised I hadn't watched Stone sooner, he's a certified dude in our class of 2027."   With how well he played last fall, Stone has seen his recruitment shape up significantly this offseason. I won't be surprised if several more schools end up sending offers his way.   Stone has made a ton of impressive plays in his last two seasons. Make sure you check out some of his film below, you won't be disappointed.      [player_tooltip player_id='2134117' first='Jatavius' last='Jacobs'] is a talented DB from Foley who had a breakout season in his team's secondary this past fall.   "Jacobs has good speed, impressive coverage skills, and terrific hands and ball skills he uses to feast out in coverage. He's consistently stride for stride with anyone he's matched up against, regardless of size, and does a great job making them work through coverage and contact for everything that's thrown their way.   I'm really impressed with how well Jacobs plays through the whistle. He's got an impressive motor he uses to consistently stay with pass catchers, regardless of how long the play is being extended. With those kinds of traits, you get a really reliable DB in your secondary, which is exactly what Jacobs is."   Jacobs is heading into a big senior season this upcoming fall.
