We updated and expanded our 2028 rankings to feature the Top 100 sophomores in the state of Oklahoma. Plus plenty of more names to know moving forward on our watchlist. You can check out the full rankings RIGHT HERE. In this breakdown, we're taking a look at the top five prospects that climbed up the ranks in the latest breakdown. All five of these 2028 prospects moved up at least ten spots, with the top player cracking the top ten. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma all week for more 2028 prospect breakdowns.

Choctaw's versatile standout [player_tooltip player_id='1837487' first='Kentrell' last='Gaddis'] II moved up ten spots in the latest ranking update and cracks the top ten at #10 overall. When you look at the 2028 class as a whole, Gaddis is one of the hottest prospects in the state right now. He's picked up a handful of offers from D1 programs and that probably won't slow down anytime soon. Gaddis is a name that we've known about for a little over a year now and the versatility and overall speed he has in his game makes him very intriguing to watch moving forward. When we caught Gaddis in person in 2025, we saw him going to work mostly in the secondary. But there's a lot of potential in his game to move around and do other things. For now, we have Gaddis listed as an athlete and the arrow is definitely pointing up as the highest ranking stock riser in this update.

Union defensive end [player_tooltip player_id='1642542' first='Rocky' last='Bright III'] is a 2028 prospect that we cannot wait to see in person when the spring rolls around and these guys put on the helmets and pads again. Bright's sophomore film is impressive to watch and he ended up being one of the more productive 2028 DL in 6A-1 last season. There is a lot to like about him and his potential moving forward. That's a big reason why he moved up 11 spots and into the Top 20. He already showcases a ton of athleticism and there could be some versatility to his game to keep an eye on moving forward. Whether he's an edge or an outside linebacker, one thing is for sure, he can be a bonafide game-wrecker for a defense. Bright recently picked up his first D1 offer and that could be the tip of the iceberg for Bright and his game moving forward.

Staying on the defensive line with Enid standout [player_tooltip player_id='1836352' first='Cashton' last='Mathis'] after he moved up 13 spots and is knocking on the door of being that Top 20 overall prospect. We first watched Mathis on film last fall and he showed flashes of a lot of things that we like from a defensive lineman. Then we got a chance to watch Mathis in person at our Showcase event in Broken Arrow last month and everything we saw on film translated to watching him go to work in person. Mathis is an absolute menace on the line of scrimmage. He's definitely a name to keep an eye on in this class. It will be interesting to follow his game this fall as Enid has been approved to play as an independent team in 2026 and 2027. No matter the competition, Mathis still finds a way to stand out and absolutely wreck shop.

Mustang is not lacking talent at the skill positions but they're starting to grow some monsters on the line of scrimmage. Offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1829859' first='Cooper' last='Clark'] checks in after moving up nearly 30 spots in the latest ranking update. And we don't think Clark is done climbing the charts at that number. There is a lot of room for improvement and the ceiling for him moving forward is going to be fun to watch. He checks a lot of the boxes when you're talking about a pure OL prospect. We think he's one of a handful of 2028 prospects that go from somewhat of an unknown to a fast riser when the spring rolls around and more coaches get their eyes on him. Clark is a 2028 OL prospect that we like a lot moving forward and what's scary is the potential that he still has ahead of him in the next two years.

Broken Bow wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1599208' first='Dejhaun' last='Hall'] has been making plays for the Savages since his freshman season. He's played two years of football and has to be considered one of the more productive wide receivers in the state's 2028 class. Broken Bow is also home to one of the more electric quarterbacks in the state, along with several other big time players. So when this spring rolls around, college coaches will be making Broken Bow a priority to see and Hall should benefit from that. You can't argue with his production over the last few years and we think that he's another prospect that has his best football in front of him. He has good size, reliable hands and the playmaking ability is clearly there in our opinion. Hall moved up the 2028 rankings 14 spots in the latest ranking update.
