transfers from Pennsbury High School to Phillips Exeter Academy and enters his post-grad year with an impressive offer sheet that includes Dartmouth College, Brown University football, Cornell University football, Lafayette College football, and Hamilton College. At 6’5”, 273 pounds, O’Brien possesses ideal size and length for a collegiate offensive lineman and plays with a physical, finishing mentality that stands out on film.
He consistently shows the ability to dominate at the point of attack, delivering pancake blocks and finishing through the whistle. His mobility is also notable, as he demonstrates the ability to pull and operate effectively in space, making him a strong fit for both gap and zone schemes. While his physical tools are advanced, continued refinement of technique—particularly leverage and hand placement—will be important as he faces higher levels of competition. Improving consistency in these areas will help him reach his full potential as a high-level offensive lineman.
