As we near the end of the month of February, the 2026 high school football offseason is in full swing. With that in mind, I have been taking some time to evaluate some top prospects in the state of Kentucky who are still seeking their first offer. When doing so, I have noticed that there are a ton of very talented quarterbacks falling under the radar in the Bluegrass State. With that being said, here are five quarterbacks in the state of Kentucky who have caught my attention and have yet to pick up their first offer to play at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2074534' first='Carson' last='Riley'] jumped onto my radar with an impressive junior year in which he completed 102/194 passes for 1,556 yards, 15 touchdowns, and seven interceptions in 11 games. Riley has a strong arm which he uses to stretch the field with ease in the deep passing game. He has also shown impressive pocket mobility, showing the ability to maneuver in the pocket to avoid pressure while keeping his eyes down the field to find the open receiver. Carson also ran the ball 46 times for 196 yards and two touchdowns as a junior. Riley is a quarterback who college coaches should definitely have their eyes on heading into his senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1200718' first='JJ' last='Reynolds'] is another quarterback who impressed as a junior, completing 144/214 passes for 1,779 yards, 24 touchdowns, and five interceptions in 12 games. He has shown impressive accuracy, showing the ability to fit passes into tight windows where only his intended receiver can catch it. Reynolds has also shown a great feel for pressure, escaping the pocket when needed then either tucking the ball and picking up yards as a ball carrier or finding the open receiver to make a throw on the run. He finished his junior season with 68 carries for 108 yards and three touchdowns. JJ has received some college interest and I expect his recruitment to continue to heat up heading into his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='378836' first='Gunner' last='Holbrook'] has been on my radar for a while now and continued to impress as a junior. He completed 138/234 passes for 1,986 yards, 26 touchdowns, and seven interceptions in 11 games. Gunner throws an impressive deep ball, showing the arm strength to stretch the field along with the touch to put the ball in a spot where only his intended receiver can catch it. In the short/intermediate passing game, he puts a good amount of zip on his passes, hitting his receivers out of their breaks with ease so that they can make catches in stride. He also finished his junior year with 46 carries for 130 yards and four touchdowns. Gunner is a quarterback who I expect college coaches to have on their radar this offseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='1656719' first='Reece' last='Hatcher'] had a very strong sophomore season, completing 136/222 passes for 2,108 yards, 28 touchdowns, and seven interceptions in nine games. Hatcher has shown impressive arm strength which he uses to lead his receivers down the field and hit them in stride in the deep passing game. He is also a very accurate passer, showing the ability to put the ball in a spot where only his intended receiver can catch it, regardless of what type of coverage is around them. Hatcher also ran the ball 42 times for 180 yards as a sophomore. I expect a lot of eyes to be on Reece this offseason as he prepares for his junior season.

The final quarterback in the state of Kentucky who has stood out to me and is still seeking his first offer is [player_tooltip player_id='1190755' first='Xavier' last='Isable']. As a sophomore, Isable completed 177/299 passes for 1,862 yards, 20 touchdowns, and nine interceptions in 10 games. Isable has proven that he can handle pressure, showing the ability to stand tall in the pocket and delivering passes down the field while opposing pass rushers close in on him. He has also shown the arm strength to lead his receivers down the field in the deep passing game. Isable also finished this past season with 39 carries for 138 yards and two touchdowns. Xavier has received some college interest and I expect him to remain on the radar of college coaches going into his junior year.
