Baltimore's Top LB's Climbing the Rankings

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='945254' first='Caden' last='Cashman'] is the No. 1 linebacker in the state, and his film shows why. Cashman has the size, speed, and instincts to dominate from the middle linebacker position. He has a college-ready frame at 6'4", 220 pounds, and his size and strength make him a reliable run stopper who fills gaps and blows up plays before they gain momentum. He finished the season with four takeaways, three interceptions and one forced fumble, and flies around making tackles outside the hashes, chasing down screens and short passes.</p>   <p class="text-gray-700">Cashman isn't just a linebacker. On offense, he's also a weapon for McDonogh School, consistently gaining yards working along the hashes. He finished with four touchdowns, three receiving and one interception return, showing he can contribute to the scoreboard while also preventing teams from scoring. Damiano is a balanced linebacker who can defend the run and stay active in pass coverage. Whether he's shooting gaps or taking on blocks, he finds the ball and gets into pursuit in a hurry. In the pass game, he plays well in zone, reading the quarterback and getting into his drops to position himself in passing lanes. On one of his three interceptions, he showed good speed by returning it for a touchdown. Damiano finished the season with eight tackles for loss, three interceptions, a forced fumble, and a sack. He reads and reacts very well, especially after his initial read step. Cuffie finished the season with an interception, a forced fumble, and 1.5 sacks, showing he has the potential to impact the game in multiple ways. He recorded a forced fumble in the end zone and consistently finds the ball with ease between the hashes. He also has the athleticism to make plays on the perimeter, making tackles in the flats. On offense, he lines up at tight end and shows the ability to impact the game making short catches. He recorded a forced fumble in the backfield and finished with a handful of tackles for loss. Hall can be an impact player that can move a defense backwards.</p>   <p class="text-gray-700">Hall is also a two-sport athlete, competing in the triple jump for Calvert Hall College High School.
