2029 Initial Watchlist Launch: Running Backs to Know

After reviewing the state for standout freshmen, we compiled a list of 200 players who have the potential to develop into next-level prospects in the upcoming season. Last season, Marquis carried the ball five times for 30 yards and recorded 18 tackles, a TFL, and a blocked kick in varsity action. Anderson's freshman tape looks like a mix of JV (freshman?) and varsity reps, giving us a glimpse of the type of player he is, with a shifty running style that can spring free for a big gain if he gets to the edge. Solid strength in his base to help him power through tackle attempts. As part of a powerful Warrior's rushing attack, Jacobi got 11 carries for 98 yards and a rushing touchdown. He also recorded 4.5 tackles, an interception, and a 95-yard KO return for a touchdown on defense and special teams. Playing for the freshman team, Will had a strong season with 82 carries, nine catches, 612 rushing yards, 169 receiving yards, four rushing touchdowns, and a receiving touchdown. Wells was also a special teams ace with 387 KR yards and three return touchdowns. Will plays with great vision that naturally guides him to open creases in defenses (return coverage), with an explosive burst and breakaway speed when hitting those lanes. Grayson had a limited role in his frosh campaign with the Saints as he carried the ball 14 times for 97 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
