Hunter, an offensive lineman, is the type of player every offense needs to set the tone in the trenches. He brings a strong, physical presence with the ability to control defenders at the line of scrimmage. In pass protection, Hunter shows patience with his set, keeps a solid base, and uses his hands well to keep rushers from getting into his chest. In the run game, he fires off low, generates leverage, and consistently drives defenders backward, creating space for his backs. Hunter also shows good awareness, picking up stunts and blitzes, and communicates well with his line to keep protections clean. What makes him stand out is his effort to finish plays he doesn’t just block, he looks to dominate until the whistle. With his toughness, leadership, and consistency, Hunter is the type of lineman that makes the offense flow and can be a difference maker up front.

Caudill is one of the most technically sound linemen in the Class of 2026 in the State of Texas and he is a Difference Maker for the Grapevine Mustangs up front offensively. Hunter plays with excellent leverage, he has a stiff, powerful punch, when he locks in on his opponent he gets control early and he is one of the best finishers in the state. Caudill has clean footwork, he has flexible hips and he has the quickness, combined with the speed to reach the second tier of the defense and make blocks downfield. In pass protection his footwork is clean, he gets into his kickslide quickly, he uses his powerful punch to stymie defenders at the point of attack and he takes pride in delivering pancake blocks. Hunter has picked up plenty of interest from collegiate programs, this summer he saw plenty of action at camps around the country and this has elevated his profile on the recruiting trail. Caudill is a veteran starter on the Grapevine offensive line after starting as a freshman and will lead the charge up front for the Mustangs in 2023.

Hunter is physical at the point of attack, he get his violent hands on his opponents, which allows him to get control of them early and he plays with a low center of gravity using great leverage. Caudill has nimble, quick feet, he moves well in space and he has the speed to get to the second level quickly. Hunter plays with a controlled aggression, he plays with a mean streak and when he gets his paws on defenders they feel his wrath. Hunter was a starter for Grapevine as a freshman on 9-1 playoff team and will be a key cog as veteran for the Mustangs heading into 2023. With recent visits to Oklahoma State and Baylor, Caudill is already on the radar of college programs.
