To finish off the rankings update, we have a new class rankings release! Our debut Top 100 rankings for the class of 2029 in the state of Kentucky has been officially posted. With these rankings being released, I will be taking the next couple weeks to break them down by position. Meaux led Danville in rushing as a freshman, carrying the ball 230 times for 1,869 yards and 31 touchdowns in 12 games. Jayvian has an impressive burst of speed which he used to hit the running lane with a sense of urgency then break away from the defense for big gains. He is also very elusive in the open field, showing the ability to make moves to make defenders miss with ease. Meaux also caught eight passes for 80 yards and a touchdown as a freshman. Lawson is very difficult for defenders to bring down in the open field as he has shown the ability to make quick cuts to make them miss. He has also shown the speed to run away from the defense once he hits the second level. Caden also finished the year with 11 receptions for 150 yards and two touchdowns, and recorded 30 tackles on defense. He led Hazard in rushing, carrying the ball 163 times for 897 yards and 13 touchdowns in 12 games. Miller explodes out of his stance and uses his burst of speed to hit the running lane quickly and pick up yards before defenders have a chance to bring him down. When defenders are able to catch up to him, he has shown the strength and contact balance to break tackles with ease. Miller also caught seven passes for 95 yards and a touchdown as a freshman. James is a strong runner, showing the ability to keep his legs churning through contact while maintaining his balance to break tackles on a regular basis. He has also shown the ability to use his speed and elusiveness in the open field to break away for a big gain at any given moment. James also finished his freshman year with 12 receptions for 87 yards and a touchdown, and also threw a touchdown pass. McDaniels led Boyd County in rushing as a freshman, carrying the ball 66 times for 500 yards and seven touchdowns in 11 games. He has very impressive vision as a ball carrier, showing the ability to find cutback lanes quickly then hit them with a sense of urgency. Once he gets into the open field, he has shown the burst of speed to run away from the defense on long runs. McDaniels also caught five passes for 28 yards this past season and made an impact on defense, recording 49 tackles and one tackle for loss.
