CJ Wells is a Class of 2029 receiver for Westerville North. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound prospect is a playmaker who can create on his own in space. Wells can take handoffs to the house, and after-the-catch, he is a legitimate threat to go the distance. I see Wells’ fit in college as an inside receiver, but he could grow into an X/Z depending on how tall he gets. Either way, he is a big name to monitor in the coming years.

Expect the 5-foot-10, 170-pound wide receiver and defensive back to have a breakout year in 2026, utilizing his coverage skills, speed and hands to play a prominent role this year. He also plays basketball in addition to his duties on the gridiron.
