Once again, two of these players I've gotten the chance to see first hand and all I can say is, be ready to be impressed when NJ Who's Next rolls around. The two I've seen recently, Miles and Kingston, both left a lasting impression after the Jersey Shore All-Star tryouts this past fall. However, all of these receivers will garnish the most attention once January 24th arrives.

Miles has been on my radar for over two years, and he continues to stand out as a dynamic playmaker. He brings a blazing 4.69 second 40-yard dash and all the traits you look for in a shifty receiver. He does most of his damage on short and intermediate routes, consistently creating separation, but he also has the speed to get behind a defense and track the ball downfield.

What sets Miles apart is his hand-eye coordination and ability to adjust in real time to secure the catch. He was the most impressive receiver at the All Star event, making plays throughout and separating himself from the competition. I expect that same level of performance at Who's Next as he continues to prove he's one of the top young receivers to watch.

Julian is a name I'm familiar with, though I haven't had the chance to see him in person yet. His highlights quickly show why there's so much intrigue around his game, as he flashes special ability and clear upside. One clip that stands out immediately is a kickoff return touchdown where he turns what looks like a dead play into six, showing natural instincts and vision in the open field.

Despite being smaller in stature, Julian is extremely elusive and difficult to square up. He has excellent ball-tracking skills, strong body control, and the flexibility to adjust mid-air and make tough catches. His quick-twitch movement is evident whether he's split out wide or lined up at running back, where he explodes out of the backfield and gets vertical in a hurry. Julian's versatility and suddenness make him a matchup problem anywhere he lines up.

Other scouts I've spoken with have been very high on what they've seen from Azaiah, consistently pointing to his special ability on both sides of the ball. He made a major statement at the 2025 All Star game, separating himself from the competition and earning Offensive MVP honors with eye popping production. With that momentum behind him, Azaiah now has a prime opportunity to prove even more next Saturday as he gains further exposure at the camp.

The second receiver I saw at the All Star tryouts was another familiar name in [player_tooltip player_id='1906022' first='Kingston' last='Hill'], and he brings a completely different style to the position. Kingston is a big, physical target who thrives in contested catch situations and plays with an aggressive edge. Looking back through my notes from September, the word “athlete” shows up repeatedly, and for good reason. He has the versatility to impact the game not only as a receiver, but also projects well on defense as a defensive back or linebacker, and even in the backfield if asked. What stood out most was how quickly he could fire his feet at the line of scrimmage, using that suddenness to shake defenders early and create clean throwing windows for his quarterback. There is big upside in Kingston's game.
