Geneva Panthers Week 6 Top Players

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The Geneva Panthers defeated the Geneva County Bulldogs 26-25 in a non-region matchup in week 6. With the win, Geneva moves to 4-2 overall on the season. </span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2">Here are the Panthers’ top players from the game. </span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2"><strong>Timothy McReynolds</strong> | 6-0 RB</span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2">McReynolds totaled 93 yards rushing and two touchdowns. On defense, he recorded five tackles. McReynolds is a shifty and speedy tailback that can swiftly move through the defense and pick up big gains on any handoff. </span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2"><strong>Kingston Tolbert</strong> | 5-9 RB</span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2">Tolbert finished with 187 rushing yards in the game. The sophomore tailback is a big back that can carry defenders with him and bounce off tackles for extra yards. He scored the go ahead touchdown on a 76-yard run. </span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2"><strong>Noah Johnson</strong> | 6-2 RB, WR, OLB</span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2">Johnson is a do it all player for the Panthers. He totaled five tackles on defense and ran the ball consistently on offense. </span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2"><strong>Dayton Landingham</strong> | 6-0 DE</span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2">Landingham is a stout defensive end that can consistently get pressure in the backfield. He led Geneva with seven tackles and was a force all game long up front. </span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2"><strong>Tayshaun McReynolds</strong> | 5-7 LB</span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2">McReynolds totaled five tackles in the game and was a constant force in the middle of the defense. He is a bit undersized, but plays well on defense and can stay stride for stride with any receiver in route running. </span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2"><strong>Logan Adams</strong> | 6-0 QB, FS</span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2">Adams tossed a 10-yard touchdown pass in Geneva’s win, and looked solid in the pocket. He only threw the ball a handful of times, but picked up big yards on the ground. The senior signal-caller is a great team leader and can help take his team down the field in a hurry. </span></p>
