2027 Rankings Update 6.0: RB

The latest class to be updated in state of Kentucky is the class of 2027. With the class update being officially posted, I will be taking the next week to break the rankings down by position. He finished his junior year as the Broncos' leading rusher, carrying the ball 205 times for 1,423 yards and 19 touchdowns in 13 games. Talbert is a strong runner, showing the ability to run straight through defenders while maintaining his balance to break tackles with ease. He has also shown the speed to run away from the defense once he hits the open field. Talbert also caught 14 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns this season. He led Woodford County in rushing this year, carrying the ball 199 times for 1,550 yards and 19 touchdowns in 14 games. Tomlin shows impressive vision and patience as a runner, letting his blocks set up then finding the open running lane and hitting it with a sense of urgency. Once he hits the second level, Tomlin has shown the burst of speed to run away from the defense on long runs. Darrian also played a role in the passing game this season, catching 19 passes for 238 yards and two touchdowns. England has explosive speed which he uses to burst through the running lane with a sense of urgency then run away from the defense on long runs. When defenders are able to catch up to him, he has shown the leg drive and contact balance to break tackles with ease without losing stride. He also caught five passes for 27 yards and returned one kickoff for a touchdown this season. He splits carries in a talented running back room but was very impressive when his number was called, running the ball 85 times for 468 yards and six touchdowns in 13 games. Turner is a strong downhill runner, showing the ability to keep his legs driving through contact to pick up extra yards. He has also shown the elusiveness to make defenders miss in the open field. Brock has had an outstanding junior season, leading his team in rushing with 242 carries for 1,659 yards and 21 touchdowns in 14 games. He is a physical runner, showing the ability to lower his shoulder and run straight through defenders while keeping his balance to break tackles with ease. Once he hits the open field, he has shown the speed to break away for long runs. Brock has also made a huge impact in the passing game this season, catching 26 passes for 431 yards and four touchdowns. He has also returned one kickoff for a touchdown this season and has played a key role on defense, recording 26 tackles and one interception, and returning one fumble recovery for a touchdown.
