#4 Osage (11-0) vs. #6 Van Meter (9-2), 10 AM Sat. Nov. 15

A team with newfound success that's led by a UNI commit under center, Osage is the first of two Class 2A undefeated teams in the equation of semifinals in the Dome this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1241488' first='Quinn' last='Street'] is the dual-threat QB under center for the Green Devils, having completed 111-of-181 passes (61.3%) for 1,806 yards, 15 touchdowns and seven interceptions this season. On the ground, he's rushed 174 times for 1,538 yards and 25 touchdowns, making him one of few quarterbacks in the state to throw and rush for over 1,500 yards. His top two receivers, Griffin Uhlenhopp and [player_tooltip player_id='1241487' first='Sevryn' last='Dodd'] have combined for the majority of Street's production through the air, 66 catches for 1,002 yards and 11 scores.

Defensively, [player_tooltip player_id='1241503' first='Brock' last='Trees'], Alex Machin and Dodd are the three names to know, as the linebacker and defensive linemen trio have paired for 184.5 tackles, 42.5 tackles-for-loss (TFLs) and 13.5 sacks. Street has also snagged five interceptions.

While Osage may be the new squad on the block, Van Meter is one of the perennial powerhouses the state of Iowa has to offer. After taking don the high-octane Mid-Prairie offense in the quarters, the Bulldogs are looking to do the same against Street and the Green Devils.

Another team that does it on the ground and through the air, senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1370569' first='Henry' last='Lounsbury'] is the guy for Van Meter. Under center, the 6-foot-2, 185-pound quarterback has completed 95-of-169 passes (56.2%) for 1,424 yards, 17 touchdowns and four picks. He and sophomore tailback are quite the duo on the ground, combining for 1,450 yards and 21 touchdowns on 285 carries.

Williams also leads the Bulldogs in tackles with 73, while the quartet of [player_tooltip player_id='1370571' first='Luke' last='Steinfeldt'], Adam Glade, [player_tooltip player_id='1905838' first='Adam' last='Boeck'] and Iowa State PWO commit, [player_tooltip player_id='1631997' first='Keaton' last='Mennen'] have combined for 40 TFLs and 16 sacks.

The Pick: Osage

#1 Kuemper Catholic (11-0) vs. #10 Wilton (9-2), 1 PM Sat. Nov. 15

A David vs. Goliath matchup (no pun intended, Catholic school), Kuemper has been on a tear all season long, winning by an average of 27 points per game.

Third-year starter, [player_tooltip player_id='1242935' first='Brock' last='Badding'] has looked like a man on a mission, finally reaching the Dome after coming up just short the last two seasons. One of the better, most prolific passers in the state, Badding has completed 171-of-247 passes (69.2%) for 2,534 yards, 30 touchdowns and four interceptions. At 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds, Badding stands tall enough to sling the rock at the collegiate level, and if there are any programs looking for a late add at quarterback, they should be knocking down Badding's door with a scholarship offer.

Also holding down punting duties for the Knights this season, he's only had to boot away nine punts, averaging 44.6 yards per kick.

Badding has a breadth of weapons at Kuemper, too. Running back Jarrin Hoffman is the top ball-carrier for the Knights, taking 213 carries for 1,409 yards and 20 scores, Griffin Glynn leads the way through the air, grabbing 45 catches for 804 yards and nine scores, and [player_tooltip player_id='850243' first='Brayton' last='Alford'], who recently picked up an offer from Iowa State, has grabbed 45 catches for 655 yards and five touchdowns.

Alford is one of the top playmakers on the Kuemper defense, too, posting 69 tackles, six TFLs and five interceptions. [player_tooltip player_id='1283377' first='Lucas' last='Diehl'] and Jack Badding have also collaborated for 83.5 tackles, 27.5 TFLs and 9.5 sacks.

The David in this scenario, Wilton is on a run of their own, as the Beavers have won seven straight after starting the season 2-2. David has a few stones in his sling this time around, too.

Two stars on the roster immediately jump out in leading receiver, Bryer Putman, who has caught 33 passes for 584 yards and ten touchdowns on offense, while adding 29 tackles and grabbing six interceptions this season, including one returned for a touchdown. Go down the roster and you'll find senior defensive lineman, [player_tooltip player_id='1241501' first='Gatlin' last='Rogers'] who has attacked opposing backfields with reckless abandon, posting 23 TFLs and eight sacks so far this season.

A trio of ball-carriers handle the ground attack for the Beavers, too, as Gunner Edwards, Hayden Hill and Noah Gray have combined for 372 carries for 1,890 yards and 29 scores this season.

The Pick: Kuemper
