There were more games than usual in the St. Louis area on Saturday of Week 4 and some outstanding performances by teams as well as some individual efforts.
Here is a quick look at some of the top performers on Saturday...
QB [player_tooltip player_id="96126" first="Reagan" last="Andrew"], 5-9, 185, MICDS, 2022
Andrew accounted for 208 total yards and three touchdowns in the Rams’ 42-7 win at Priory. He completed seven of 10 passes for 152 yards, with two touchdowns and two interceptions, ran for 31 yards and a touchdown and caught a 25-yard pass. RB [player_tooltip player_id="178556" first="Lionel" last="Banks"], 5-5, 185, Hazelwood Central, 2022
For the second straight week the Hawks emerged victorious in a showdown of unbeaten teams. Banks, [player_tooltip player_id="103085" first="Jamarion" last="Price"] and [player_tooltip player_id="122413" first="Bryson" last="Brown"] led the way, like they usually do, in Hazelwood Central’s 46-13 win over visiting Seckman. Banks scored three touchdowns — one in each of the first three quarters — while Price scored twice and Brown tossed two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter to secure the non-conference victory.
QB [player_tooltip player_id="37531" first="Brian" last="Brown"], 6-1, 180, Lutheran North, 2022
A Southern Illinois commit, Brown accounted for 400 yards and six touchdowns in the Crusaders’ 52-7 win at Westminster. He completed 15 of 23 passes for 343 yards and five touchdowns and ran for 57 yards and a touchdown. He has accounted for 980 total yards (821 passing, 159 rushing) and 10 touchdowns the past two weeks.
QB [player_tooltip player_id="195787" first="LaVonta" last="Clerk"], 5-10, 160, Soldan, 2022
Clerk accounted for 247 total yards and four touchdowns in Soldan’s 46-6 win over Roosevelt. He completed nine of 17 passes for 146 yards, with two touchdowns and one interception, and ran for 101 yards and two scores on seven carries.
RB [player_tooltip player_id="201724" first="Dierre" last="Hill"], 6-0, 180, Vashon, 2025
Hill recorded his second straight four-touchdown game in leading Vashon to a 49-12 win at Carnahan. He rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown and was credited with three return touchdowns. The freshman standout now has 11 touchdowns through four games.
WR [player_tooltip player_id="171955" first="Kevon" last="Jacobs"], 5-8, 175, Lutheran North, 2022
Jacobs has enjoyed having Brown back as Lutheran North’s quarterback the past two weeks. Jacobs followed up a career day at St. Thomas Aquinas in Kansas (10 receptions, 222 yards, two touchdowns) with another strong performance at Westminster. He caught eight passes for 144 yards and a touchdown in the big win. Jacobs is a smaller wide receiver, but he’s explosive.
QB [player_tooltip player_id="37718" first="Charos" last="Sutton"], 5-10, 170, Troy Buchanan, 2023
Sutton led the way as the Trojans improved to 4-0 with a 62-14 win at Francis Howell Central. He completed eight of 14 passes for 113 yards and a touchdown and ran for 111 yards and a score on just four carries. Teammate [player_tooltip player_id="103392" first="Nick" last="Bova"] added three touchdowns and 45 yards on six carries.
