Braxton was a big time performer at the NP Showcase earlier this month and up there for DB MVP. Measuring in at 5’11″+ and 180lbs. with nice length. He ran the fastest 40 time of any DB with a 4.63 laser 40 and a 9’6″ SBJ. Braxton was incredibly smooth and fluid in drill work. Making transitions and breaks with no loss of speed and attacking the ball. He is physical with good balls skills making getting a completed pass on him quite difficult. No surprise why Braxton holds a few IVY offers with his strong academics and play. He backed that up at the National Preps Showcase and he is easily a multi-offer FCS kid.
Hard work at @NPShowcases. Thank you @NPCoachZim and @tdhald for the invite. @frogfootball pic.twitter.com/84x7hxP9V3

I was able to see Braxton in person recently and his size & length stood out right away, fitting the mold for todays DBs. A physical player in coverage, he can play bump & run as well as come up to make tkls at the LOS. Braxton shows the ability to play man press or off coverage with good eye discipline. Braxton showcases good ball skills, able to track it well leafing to getting PBUs. He gets his hands on so many passes I would like to see him turn more of those into INTs however. A nice overall athlete and basketball player as well, you see it translate on the field with his fluid hips, able to flip/turn and go with no loss of momentum.
Braxton is also a High academic prospect making him a good candidate for IVYs/Patriot colleges. He should be in contention for top DBs out of DC for his class with the season he is putting together so far for Maret.
