This is a different-looking De La Salle team. Still full of talent, but a bit less experienced than we're used to. Still, the sky's the limit for this year's team. Don't count the Pilots out in D3- they could absolutely still win when it matters most. I have quite a bit to say regarding some of DLS's best non-senior talent!

Grayson was on par with my expectations. He's an incredibly talented QB, like I've always said. At his best, Grayson is able to make any throw with good timing, velocity, and accuracy. Plus, he's a great athlete who has a chance to be a dual-threat in college.

Yesterday, some of Grayson's inexperience showed. Primarily, he just needs to continue to get reps and learn from those reps. IQ is not where it needs to be just yet. Too often, Grayson sticks onto his first read. He also looked a bit rushed all game, and threw some dangerous balls. Right now, the game seems a bit fast for Grayson.

Still, he was able to step up and complete some big-time throws. The arm talent is unquestioned. As always, great velocity on his balls, and still above-average accuracy. I absolutely still view Grayson as a Division 1 prospect.

I was extremely excited to scout Jackson. I mean, he's a 6'4" receiver in the Catholic League.

At receiver, Jackson was pretty hit-and-miss. Early on in the game, Jackson was targeted on several short comebacks. First target, he tired to catch with his body, and he dropped it. Second target, he got his hands out there, and he caught it. All in all- Jackson earned a good number of targets, and hauled them in as long as he got his hands out rather than reliing on his body. Not much in terms of RAC, but I chalk that up to good tackling more than anything.

Athletically, I wasn't able to see a ton. He looks around average for someone his size. At receiver, I still think Jackson could be a D2 prospect. Elite size, and still extremely high upside.

Jackson also serves as De La Salle's kicker. Seems to have a big leg. He could also be a college prospect at kicker.

I liked what I saw from Sucaet. For one, he has ideal size for a high school OT. Could fill out his frame a bit more, but not small by any means.

The thing I liked most about Greyson was his physicality. Not afraid to get his nose dirty, and several great blocks through the whistle. Many instances where the ball wasn't anywhere near Greyson, but he still locked onto his man and attempted to drive him backward.

Speaking of technique, Greyson is an above-average pass blocker. Good anchor and physicality, but needs to make sure he gets his hands up and ready to strike out of his stance.

I would be shocked if Greyson doesn't earn GLIAC offers this offseason at the very least.

Jaydan was likely the quickest of the De La Salle linemen. A good, consistent getoff, and was able to earn a few trips into the backfield. Decent bend and an overall good athletic profile. I was not able to watch Davies as much as I would have liked, but it's clear that he's going to be a college prospect this offseason.

Cartwright had a couple of extremely good moments.

To start off, Cartwright has great size for a high school 5-tech. In college, I could easily see him transitioning to 3-tech.

Cartwright earned a few trips into the Brother Rice backfield, and subsequently earned a few TFL and quarterback pressures. Cartwright looked great when the initial block shed attempt was successful. There were other times when Cartwright got moved off the ball, and I think a more explosive getoff would do him wonders. Brother Rice did a great job mixing up the snap count, and it looked to get the DLS D-Line a little off-schedule.

Another DLS prospect who I think has a D2 floor. With a good offseason, Cartwright has got to be a MAC prospect.
