A 2027 that has been on my radar for a bit, but is surely starting to catch waves in the 2025 season has been [player_tooltip player_id='1264215' first='Jack' last='Adler'] of Garretson. Where he has grown a ton since our first eval of him is in the open field as his vision and enticing change of direction shows awareness and solid finish downfield. Jack even as a route-runner has blossomed with a sound get-off and and has the agility to brake and adds unbalanced angles in the secondary. You also can't miss on the flexibility, as Jack seems to be everywhere in the Blue Dragons receiving core.

I had Dawsen graded in the receiving core out of Lyman, however his skillsets he has offered at linebacker add for some position flexibility as another prospect on our radar out of Lyman. He's grown out a ton in frame now playing at 6'2180 pounds and you can see the length in stride to the ball. In the backfield also makes Dawsen a tough one to catch on the fly in the open field as he's longer than a lot of his competition he goes up against. Surely an 2027 athlete that's a stock mover as Lyman seems to keep producing athletes.

There is muliple skillsets that Easton has taken up a notch as one of a couple 2027s to know from Mobirdge-Pollock. You can tell that he has surely been in the weight room from a season ago, as the yards after contact have shown that after the catch. Another area where the upside has grown is with his pass-blocking as Easton not only looks the part when he gets his hands aligned, but he's one that you don't want to meet downhill as he has power generated and more quickly than a season ago. He's one that I have listed as an athlete, and whenever you see him out of the wildcat formation for the Tigers, the open field speed is surely booming.

The first linebacker on our small school list that has taken a sound step ahead from last season has been [player_tooltip player_id='1153742' first='Caleb' last='Heuertz'] of 11B powerhouse Elk Point-Jefferson. "Find the man, meet the man" is a good way to describe Caleb in the backfield as he's gotten so much quicker with identifying with his vision and meeting the ball carrier with instinct and ideal position angles in the backfield. Even the range I have seen a significant different from Caleb. He's add 2 inchs and 10 pounds and to me looks quicker with that frame than in his sophomore season. I'll say it, he's going to be a stockriser in this class

Another will be mover in this 2027 class is [player_tooltip player_id='1320958' first='Graham' last='Fosness'] of Britton-Hecla. The now 6'2 230 pounder has progressed in muliple areas as a left guard in the Braves offense. The first area that pops out right away is how much faster his first step has gotten as it's no wonder his quick punch and quick leverage are cementing defensive linemen onto their rear end, due to the momentum Graham produces very quickly. He's surely shoving that there is a people-mover in this 2027 class in North Central SD, that you need to know.

Gage is another small-schooler that will see a boost by our next 2027 rankings update in South Dakota as the now 6'1 220 pound linebacker out of Parkston has been on a tear for the Trojans defense. Not only has Gage gotten more rangy with his footwork and movement, but the get off he's showing off blocks has been pinpoint accurate from an alignment perspetive nearing into the ball carrier for a quick tackle. I've said it before, on tape you want answer the question "do I look physical" well, Gage has taken that to heart as his tackling ability shows the finish and the pop of physicality that a college coach is going to want to see.
