KenDen has been putting in work this offseason. He’s added on good size to his frame and he’s a backer who shows good instincts, moves well laterally, has good acceleration and does well at shedding his blocks and using his hands to get defenders off him. He’s made great strides this offseason and has improved his overall quickness and is primed for a huge season ahead.

Kenden did an excellent job carving out a role on a deep Fremont defense, and with some key defenders moving on next season, he has every right to carve out a bigger role and bring flexibility to that defense. He is an effective backer who is comfortable in space and in coverage just as much as he is pressing forward and attacking. The Fremont defense will be their strength next year, and Kenden should be a big player on that side.
