Owen Chambliss Owen Chambliss 6'3" | 205 lbs | DB Centennial - Corona | 2023 State CA , DB, Centennial
Chambliss is a versatile defender with a college level frame/length at 6’4” 210 lbs. Capable of playing OLB or safety depending on how he continues to develop but flashes good talent and ability from both positions. He’s a plus athlete showing natural movement skills and bend for his size. He’s a strider that can cover ground and shows good burst to close in coverage and in run support. He diagnoses plays quickly and displays good eye discipline to put himself in position to make a play on the ball. Comes downhill hard in run support and is a strong open field tackler. Boise State was the first to offer in late May and has since picked up his first Power 5 offer from Arizona.
Sinn Brennan Sinn Brennan 6'5" | 240 lbs | DL Los Alamitos | 2023 State CA , DL, Los Alamitos
Great physical skillset to build on at 6’5” 235 lbs. with a strong and balanced frame. Shows a quick get off the LOS and the ability to run/pursue. Good lateral mobility and hip flexibility to work down the line and chase the ball carrier. Does a good job keeping his shoulders square while he’s disengaging and fighting off blocks to locate the ball. Possesses brute strength and good balance to control/neutralize blockers while playing the run and that will only continue to improve as he matures and adds weight to his frame. Flashes plus body control and coordination with the ability to knock down balls at the LOS. He’s under recruited at this point and one of the top 2023 DL prospects in the state without an offer.
Ashton Sanders Ashton Sanders 6'3" | 300 lbs | DL Cathedral | 2023 State CA , DL, Cathedral
Massive body/frame at 6’3” 295 lbs. with the versatility to effectively play either side of the line. Exceptional natural strength in both the upper and lower half, he’s able explode through contact and overpower opponents pushing them off the ball with ease. He’s very athletic and light on his feet for his size showing good balance and body control as a pass rusher and in pursuit. Flashes good initial quickness and burst on the snap with his ability to disrupt plays in the backfield as they develop. Expect his offer count to rise as he’s able to showcase his size and athleticism but currently holds offer from Utah and Fresno.
Jacob Lewis Jacob Lewis 6'0" | 185 lbs | ATH Leuzinger | 2023 State CA , DB, Serra
A fluid athlete that can impact the game on both sides of the ball. He flashes great playing speed and reactionary quickness in the secondary with a strong burst that he can sustain. Transitions well with the ability to plant and drive out of his backpedal to close on the ball. Good technique and footwork, he’s calculated with his movement with limited wasted motion. He’s an effort player on both sides that competes and is unselfish. Recruiting is starting to heat up after being offered by SMU in late July and Nevada just last week.
Sailasa Vadrawale Sailasa Vadrawale 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Rancho Cotate | 2023 State CA , DB, Rancho Cotate
Vadrawale holds an offer from Nevada but is under recruited given his upside and potential. He’s an explosive playmaker on both sides of the ball with outstanding athleticism and natural fluidity. Great acceleration out his cuts and catch-up speed, he’s smooth changing directions and breaks on the ball hard. One of his best attributes is his ball skills and judgement, he attacks the ball in the air and competes winning the majority of contested plays. Flashes good eye discipline, instincts, and anticipation in the secondary to make plays all over the field. He has continuously proven himself against top competition at offseason camps/showcases and is expected to see an increase in recruiting as a junior.
