Drew Hardin Drew Hardin 5'11" | 165 lbs | WR/DB West Jessamine | 2028 KY is a slot receiver who has scored 7 touchdowns on 19 touches for 392 yards out wide this season. That’s good for 20.2 yards per reception for the 4-0 West Jessamine Colts. Hardin has a knack for slipping past opposing defenses thanks to being a strong route-runner with the speed/agility to create and maintain separation. His speed in the open field, however, is what sets him apart from other receivers in Central Kentucky. Hardin can locate the ball in stride and zoom past defenders with ease, which makes him an explosive threat in the quick and medium pass game.

Hardin is a savvy route runner who has been getting open early and often to start the year. He does a really good job finding space in zone and exploiting it, giving his quarterback an easy target when the defense leaves something open. He’s got good hands and shows some creativity after the catch, but I’ve also liked how much more comfortable he looks working over the middle. His sideline awareness has been good, making sure to get his feet down. It’s been a big first few weeks for Hardin, and he looks like he’s off and rolling.

Hardin is a good athlete who moves all over the formation and brings versatility to the offense. He’s a true chains mover with reliable hands, consistently finding soft spots in zone and winning against man coverage. He was heavily targeted and delivered with 61 catches for 778 yards and 5 TDs. With his thicker frame, he’s able to absorb contact and create damage after the catch, adding another layer to his game. I always appreciate players like him because you know he can get the job done.
