Expert Analysis

Slone is the starting right tackle for West Jessamine and really thrives in the running game. He’s a big, strong, powerful tackle who spends time in the weight room, and it pays off on the field. He has no issue dealing with power rushers and blitzes, and does a good job helping seal the right side of the line. The OL communicates well and plays with good cohesion. I do think he plays a bit high at times, but cleaning that up would help round out his game even more. He’s got the strength and physicality you want at tackle, and he’s been an important piece of a very good offensive line.
