The Coal Curtain: Week Two

These five athletes demonstrated the ability to harass quarterbacks and create chaos along the line of scrimmage. Clark had two big 4th-down stops during the game and consistently created havoc along the line of scrimmage. The Mohigans limited a Jefferson offense to just 7 points and controlled the line of scrimmage. Travis is skilled in shedding blocks, which benefits him both as a pass rusher and in making plays in the running game. He could've placed on either linemen standout article, but Parlier should be commended for his defensive effort, helping limit a potent Martinsburg offense to just 20 points. He had 7 QB hurries during the game, and all four of his tackles went for a loss. St. Albans had no answer for him coming off the end and easily won his 1-on-1 matchups all game. He faced a very talented Huntington offensive line and fared well against a big, physical group, which also translated to TE on offense. Urias won his fair share of snaps against them and helped limit an offense littered with athletes to just 22 points.
