Big Stat Defensive Studs

New Palestine held Decatur Central's explosive offense in-check, holding the Hawks to just six points. Shutting out Indianapolis Tindley, he recorded one interception on defense and two touchdowns on offense in just two-and-a-half quarters played. On Friday against Evansville Memorial, he wracked up 11 total tackles, 7 solo tackles and two pass deflections on defense. A big piece to their defensive puzzle is Chancellor Adams, who had seven tackles, two pass breakups and an interception. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound safety has excellent ball skills, but he is also a good open-field tackler and strong against the run.
