He is a cut 5'8 170 with a low center of gravity. He stays squared to running lanes and his quick feet allow him to shift his way around traffic and find new running lanes. He battles hard at contact to squeeze out as many yards as possible, and that's an area of his game that will improve as he gets stronger. There is natural athleticism across the board here. He is a 4-sport athlete and plays both ways for Pinewood Christian. He is a box checker size-wise at RB and looks to have adequate athletic traits, but it's how hard he runs and the willingness to fight through traffic that catches my eye the most. Shockley comes in around 6'2 185 with a lot of body to grow into. Long arms, big paws, and a physical outmatch on the outside. He is a smooth-flowing athlete with the flexibility to sink his hips, shift his weight, and work route combinations all over the field. Right now, they are flipping the ball to him in the short areas to give him some opportunities with the ball in his hand. As the year goes on, I am expecting him to continue developing as a multi-level playmaker.
