is going to have a huge role for the Terriers in all three phases of the game this season. Tripp will see playing time on offense at running back but he’ll also be one of their returning starters on defense at the linebacker position. Last season, Tripp finished the year with a little over 50 tackles and the Terriers are expecting him to take another step forward this season. And finally, Tripp is a weapon in special teams as their kicker. He put the ball into the end zone double digit times last season and has only gotten stronger. Not having to worry about opponents returning a kickoff takes a lot of pressure off special teams and the defense.
