2027 Rankings: Quarterback Stock Risers/New Names

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With the Prep Redzone Illinois 2027 Rankings being expanded to 250 prospects there are a ton of new names that have emerged along with prospects that elevated their stock.&nbsp; Here we look at those prospects in&nbsp;<strong>2027 Rankings: Quarterback Risers/New Names</strong>!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1335265' first='Jake' last='Nawrot'] (Hersey)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nawrot lit it up at the JV level last season throwing for 17 touchdowns along with 173 yards per game.&nbsp; He has prototype size and strength at 6'4" 190 pounds.&nbsp; Like his pocket presence hanging in to make throws vs pressure.&nbsp; Does have mobility to extend plays when needed with his legs and can run with power. Really like his deep ball.&nbsp; Leans back a bit on those throws.&nbsp; Good when making quick decisions. Can go off the first read to make the correct throw.&nbsp; Lot of physical upside here!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1570764' first='Jackie' last='Ryder'] (New Trier)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Intrigued with what Ryder brings to the table.&nbsp; Great size for this New Trier QB at 6'5" 205 pounds. Deep arm talent that has touch and drives it downfield.. Throws well on the run.&nbsp; Ball explodes off his hand with a whipping delivery. Sees the entire field and is more than capable of going off his first read to find another pass catcher.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1615582' first='AJ' last='Rayford'] (Glenbard West)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rayford put together a strong tape from his sophomore season.&nbsp; It is a thing of beauty in play action situations when he hits the backfoot and lets it fly downfield on a perfect dime.&nbsp; Touch on deep ball and seam routes. Whip action on his release with a ton of velo coming on his throws. Makes plays on the run finding pass catchers.&nbsp; Mechanically sound.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1597478' first='Dominic' last='Maloney'] (Loyola)<br></strong><br>Maloney is a 6'0" 180 pound signal caller that is up next at Loyola.&nbsp; He has a strong arm who plays good with pocket presence. Strong arm and touch on both deep ball and seam routes.&nbsp; Consistently accurate and sound mechanically.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1615600' first='Carson' last='Rowe'] (Huntley)<br></strong><br>Intriguing prospect at 6'0" 180 pounds out of Huntley.&nbsp; Touch on the deep ball with good accuracy.&nbsp; Drives it downfield and has zip on his intermediate passes.&nbsp; Solid runner that is a threat in the RPO game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1132657' first='Jackson' last='Grabinski'] (DePaul Prep)<br></strong><br>Grabinski is a 6'0" 190 pound signal caller from DePaul Prep that has average arm strength, but makes up for it with his touch and mobility.&nbsp; Very good athleticism extending plays with his legs.&nbsp; Touch on the deep ball and over the middle.&nbsp; At times tends to throw too much off his back foot instead of transferring weight.
