. The playmaking Holmes is going to make some college very happy, and likely blow up on the next level when he gets his opportunity. Besides his obvious impressive speed, he is twitchy and runs good routes. His burst get him good separation and he has very good hands and ball skills, which serve him well as a receiver, or if he plays defensive back, where he has the ability to lock down opponents, but also plays the run well and with physicality. He managed 90 yards on 4 catches and averaged 22.5 per catch in the game. He’s also a good returner.
Multi-sport athlete highly competitive in track and field. Multiple event postseason including the 100m where he ran a PR 10.81 this spring, also the 200 with a PR 22.68, and the 4×1 and 4×4 running the anchor leg. Listed 5110 175 and put up excellent numbers in the combine setting this spring – 4.49×40, 4.21ss, 39 vj, 10’0 bj. Two way player at the prep level at WR/SAF. Recorded 31 REC, 570 YDS, 9 TD and 33 TKL, 3 FR, 1 FF, 1 pick 6 in 2025. Ball skills show up on film. Displays hands, feet and sideline awareness. Very calm at the catch point. Track acceleration shows up ina. big way. Smooth off the ball, limited false movements, plays out of the slot and has lots of juice. Has ability to win the 1v1 battle for the jump ball. Creates big plays running past comp with raw speed and explosiveness. Handles business in the class room with a 4.5 GPA and 32 ACT. No offers yet, but expected to receive plenty of looks and interest from Division I programs given natural athletic traits and ability to produce with and without the ball. Will rise in the ranks, look for him to pop this fall.
