Gameday in the Show Me State, Finally

Missouri high school football gets going tonight with a light slate before going pedal to the floor for Friday Night Lights. [player_tooltip player_id='1188251' first='Noah' last='Williams'] is Vianney's long lanky receiver in the rising senior class, recently arriving at 6 positionally in the Rankings Reboot, and 28 overall. The rising sophomore class has athletic talent in DB [player_tooltip player_id='1910948' first='CJ' last='Fennell'], WR [player_tooltip player_id='1743321' first='Kali' last='Thomas'] and lineman [player_tooltip player_id='2068675' first='Rajon' last='Taylor']. 2028 lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1598543' first='Mark' last='Silva'] has experience on both sides of the ball. Vianney has some athletes.   Lindbergh is senior heavy and led by 2027 Northern Illinois commit, DL [player_tooltip player_id='813880' first='Jameson' last='Honey'], 13 overall in the Missouri rankings and a high motor, physical player. 2027 WR/DB [player_tooltip player_id='1727428' first='Carter' last='Holmes'] is one of the big risers in the Rankings Reboot and has speed to burn. 2027 DB [player_tooltip player_id='1325180' first='Bryce' last='Kenner'] has length and a Division I grade indicating his potential. 2027 LB [player_tooltip player_id='1667956' first='Noah' last='Norman'] is another big riser in the new release. Look out for any underclassmen that could pop, like 2029 RB/DB [player_tooltip player_id='1635445' first='Grant' last='Spears'].     <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Hazelwood East at Hazelwood West</h2>   West welcomes East into this crosstown matchup, likely sore about last season's lopsided result. Both sides have players with something to prove.   East has an athlete that has broken into the 2028 rankings in last year's postseason release, and that is DB/WR/APB [player_tooltip player_id='1673293' first='Shaun' last='Johnson']. Deuce showed up to Lindenwood at 5100 165, ran 4.74 in the 40, and had a productive offseason earning recognition around the camp and combine circuit.   West has a pair of rising senior defenders that put some nice flashes on tape last fall. Darius Anderson and [player_tooltip player_id='1726906' first='Nolan' last='Ball'] are two off ball defenders that can get after the football and disrupt offensive flow. Look for these two long athletes to have something to say about their futures this fall. In the junior class is [player_tooltip player_id='2060105' first='Mark' last='Jackson'], a playmaker with good length and speed as a two way player, who had one of the highlight reel picks of the 2025 season. Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1743334' first='Zamarion' last='Garner'] is a rising prospect that can be a two way player and one to watch. *SPECS ALERT* - Know the name [player_tooltip player_id='2347808' first='Alex' last='Mullins'], senior combo kicker with range well over 40 and punt hangtimes in the 4.5s. He can do all three.     <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Parkway North at Parkway West</h2>   Enter the opening day district matchup between the Parkway North and Parkway West. Both sides come off productive 2025 seasons. West was 9-3 and advanced to the 5A district championships. North went 10-2, advanced to the 4A quarterfinals, and won head to head in a tight one last season 19-14.   North returns the connection of QB [player_tooltip player_id='1375173' first='Kenyon' last='Bolden'] to WR [player_tooltip player_id='1669382' first='Bryce' last='Glasby'] as seniors, both with next level ability. Bolden performed well in the camp and combine circuit during the offseason and has riser capability in the rankings with a good year. "BG" Glasby attracted Division III interest this offseason and also playing for his future. Amongst the underclassmen, junior EDGE [player_tooltip player_id='1601145' first='Charles' last='Banks'] broke through in the rankings after last season. Banks is a developing pass rusher that shows twitch and quickness in space. North has several young names on the roster that could emerge as an impact player.   West has a big dawg in the trenches that has been moving bodies on both sides of the ball in senior [player_tooltip player_id='1188456' first='Ethan' last='Bain']. Committed to Eastern Michigan, Bain is one of the impressively athletic big men who put up some good tape at LT in 2025 and could play all three inside in the future. Junior TE [player_tooltip player_id='1312910' first='Max' last='Jones'] is the established passing game weapon with great size. He has several power conference offers. Junior LB [player_tooltip player_id='1314217' first='Gunnar' last='Holmes'] showed physical growth over the last year, and competed at Lindenwood at 6030 221. Junior WR/TE [player_tooltip player_id='1314213' first='Greyson' last='Smith'] is another big target in the passing game and one to watch for a breakout season. In the sophomore group is WR [player_tooltip player_id='2198963' first='Liam' last='Corrigan'], a competitive young rising prospect to continue to watch, and QB [player_tooltip player_id='1674661' first='Braden' last='Biermann'] who is gaining steam and attention with his offseason showings.
