Adrian is our highest debuting OL of the update and comes in at OL3 overall. The Waupun LT has an excellent frame to continue to build on over the coming years. A frame with length to help him vs speed on the edge. Adrian is at his best when he can utilize his overwhelming power in the run game and when taking on bull rushers in pass pro. The ’28 also has sufficient mobility between his lateral movement and getting depth in his pass set, but there is room to build on that and get even lighter on his feet. If he can continue to put in the work and get his athleticism on par with his next level power then he is only going to continue to climb our board. I’m very excited to watch him get better and better.

Coaches, this is a 2028 to have on your boards. I have been looking forward to seeing him live since he hit my radar early this past season. Adrian is a legitimate OL specimen. He has a growing frame that already looks the part. The most impressive part is the OT has an unreal 6’9″ wingspan. That length is hard to find, but what makes him more rare is that the 270 lbs athlete is rather light on his feet. He could get good depth in his pass protection and paired it with that elite length. Adrian took to the coaching really well, working on being more patient and trusting that next level athleticism he has. Adrian is raw, but he possesses special traits. Fluidity, mobility, flexibility, length, and the power to stuff a bull rush. I’m buying all the stock on this kid.

One of the top breakout athletes on the OL this season was sophomore LT Adrian Gschwind Adrian Gschwind 6'4" | 270 lbs | OL/DL Waupun | 2028 State WI of Waupun. The Waupun offense was one of the most dominant this past season, piling up yards and points in a hurry. None of that would have been possible if not for the emergence of the 6’5″ 260 lbs sophomore. Adrian already has a great frame for the position. He is filling out well and utilizes his long arms on the field. On tape there is so much to be excited about. The big man demonstrated a strong anchor in pass pro vs bull rushes. Range to pull across the formation and power to reset the line of scrimmage in the run game or flatten the defender he is kicking out when pulling. The 2028 is at a great point in his development. It is now time to take things to the next level. More fluid in his movements, more flexibility in his knees and ankles so that he can win the leverage battle and continuing to add as much strength as he can comfortably and effectively use. Big things are ahead for Adrian.

Adrian is a raw prospect, but the tools that the sophomore LT brings to the field should land him on a ton of recruiting boards for the Class of 2028. Adrian has already developed an excellent frame at 6’5″ and carries his 255 really well. Telling me he has plenty of room to continue to add to that frame. The big fella is another one of those high end athletes at the position who despite their size is able to play with natural flexibility, leverage, and agile feet. Adrian makes pass pro look easy as he uses his length and quick feet to mirror rushers. I love the early signs Adrian is showing. Check them out for yourselves.
