About Matthew

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a dynamic playmaker with precise route running, reliable hands, deep‑threat speed, able to win contested catches and turn short gains into explosive plays. My high motor, toughness, and football IQ allow me to also make an impact on defense and special teams as well. I am a reliable target, consistently finding ways to get open and help my team convert on critical downs.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am hardworking, coachable, and team-oriented, consistently demonstrating a positive attitude, strong leadership, and a competitive mindset both on the field and in the classroom. I will do everything in my power and drain every bit of me to achieve my goals and to help my teammates and team achieve our goals.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Principal’s Student Advisory Council; DECA

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I lead by example on and off the field, bringing energy, accountability, and a team‑first mentality, while pushing myself in rigorous honors/AP courses, driving business/marketing projects through my DECA participation, and serving on the principal’s leadership council. I also stay disciplined and don’t flinch when times are tough, consistently rising to the occasion in big spots.

What type of college are you looking for?

The best college for me is one with a competitive football program and strong academics in business and marketing, where I can grow as both a student-athlete and a leader. I’m looking for a school that values collaboration and teamwork, offers compelling courses, and provides opportunities for internships and real-world experiences.
