He makes circus catches look like normal catches with his ability to get the ball on contested catches. On one play, he caught the ball in the corner of the end zone, and he dragged his foot to secure a great catch. He is also good after the catch by catching the ball and running for big yards. He was also able to snap the ball and block defensive linemen at a high level. He needs to add strength to his frame, but overall, he has excellent skills for an interior offensive lineman. He also played as a defensive tackle and did a nice job of getting off the ball and causing disruptions against the opposing offenses. One thing that stood out from his play at safety is that he is not afraid to come upfield and hit someone. He does a good job of reading the play and making the tackle in the open field. It is quite impressive to see him fly upfield from his deep safety position and make tackles in the open field. He also showed good coverage skills. Then on junior varsity, he played some wide receiver, and he showed good hands catching the ball. The other impressive part about Goddard is that he played last year with a cast on his left hand for part of the season. Madson did a nice job playing quarterback last year. He has excellent mechanics and footwork in the pocket. He also throws with good accuracy. Then he is an excellent athlete who has shown a good ability to run the ball from the quarterback position. His mechanics and footwork are excellent, and he shows good accuracy. The footage also showed a good athlete who moves well and can throw the ball on the run at a high level.
