Expert Analysis
Connor Jackson | Prep Redzone Scout
Johnson is a tall, sturdy, rare-traits prospect who has been a steady riser, and it feels like a matter of time before everything boils over. Johnson comes from a basketball background, and he is a pretty dynamic athlete in space. Thanks to his mass, he is a candidate to grind down the defense and get tough yards as well. He gets the ball out quickly, but I think there is another level of pop and confidence he can reach as a passer. He is raw talent in a bottle right now, but more programs are sure to get involved here as his exposure to the recruiting scene increases. He holds an offer from PVA&M.

Read EvaluationMatt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
A metro-Atlanta quarterback flying under the radar in the 2028 class, Johnson brings plenty of size at 6-foot-4 225-pounds with outstanding natural arm talent. He loves launching the ball down the field and should continue to develop more and more as a passer over time. His arm talent was impressive as a freshman and he has a chance to have an outstanding sophomore season. If he does, look for some offers to come his way down the road.
