Expert Analysis
Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
A mean, vicious offensive tackle with a giant frame for his age at 6-foot-4 270-pounds, Smith is a physically-imposing tackle south of Atlanta who really shined as a freshman last season for the Bears. He shows natural strength and uses his leverage well against smaller defenders. He plays hard, moves well for his size, and has the potential to improve more and more each season. As he continues to improve and develop his technique over time, Smith could see Power Four offers come his way in bunches down the road. He’s currently ranked as the No. 3 OL prospect in the state for the 2029 class

A freshman offensive tackle coming off a tremendous first season, Smith is a strong, powerful tackle who plays with a mean strength. He’s physically gifted at 6-foot-4 270-pounds who can dominate smaller defenders with ease. He plays hard and showed a lot of promising last year for a first year player. If he continues to improve his technique while continuing to put on good muscle mass over time, the offers will likely come in bunches. His potential is easy to see and he was an easy addition to the next Prep Redzone rankings. The Griffin (GA) standout is now ranked as a top-50 prospect in Georgia for the 2029 class.
