Dayten is a player who had his season cut short last season, but he’s more than made up for it this offseason. He is a player with good athletic movement patterns and is a twitchy athlete. He has good vision and has soft hands. He’s a player who should make an impact on either side of the ball. His natual position is a running back where he shows good elusiveness and makes defenders miss in close proximity; he has the speed to get to the edge and is a complete three down back. His athleticism makes him a fun fit as a potential box safety.
Gochis will be an exceptional player and will start by impacting Thursday nights and could very well suit up on Fridays. He is a backer who could eventually transition to a safety position. The athletic playmaker will find a way to get on the field for varsity this year and contribute. A big future is ahead.
Gochis comes in as the RB2 of the class and overall the 27th-ranked prospect in the class. He might end up being a defensive back when the dust settles, but as a runner, Gochis shows good vision, patience, and has good speed. Gochis has good hip fluidity and moves well athletically. He possesses good physicality to his game and is someone who is a three-down back. His athletic movement patterns and hip fluidity are the reason why he might settle in as a defensive back. He has good instincts and can be a difference maker on the back end of a defense. Good potential and has every right to be a riser in the class and that versatility makes him a chess piece for a team.
