Reutzel is a twitchy athlete who will be primarily a receiver but can be a cover corner if needed. As a receiver, he is versatile enough where he can line up at the boundary or in the slot. He is best as a slot option or the Y where he can be off the line to avoid press coverage. His release is good and he ahs the footwork to be a menace for opposing cornerbacks. He is strong at the catch point, and does well after the catch, he should have a great season.

During the 7’s event, Reutzel played both sides of the ball and showed great instincts at cornerback, where his hip fluidity allows him to stick to his man, and he does a good job at minimizing big plays. His home will be as a receiver where he has good footwork, and his lateral movement makes him a tough cover and finds ways to get open and is strong at the catch point and does a good job of making something out of nothing.
