Expert Analysis
Rob Howe | Prep Redzone Scout
I scouted Milliman during the regular season. His versatility and athleticism impressed. It was good getting another in-person look at him during the 3A state semifinals against Nevada. On a rough night for the Spartans, he delivered with a hard-earned 51-yard touchdown grab among his three receptions. Milliman also contributed 2.0 tackles, a half tackle for loss and a pass breakup. It’s a well-rounded skill set that makes him a prospect on both sides of the ball with the added bonus of production on special teams. His frame still has room to fill out and add strength as well. Milliman finished 2025 with 32 receptions for 463 yards and three touchdowns. He had 14 solo tackles, two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble and three interceptions. He’s being under-recruited right now relative to his ability and potential.

Milliman looked like a prospect packed with potential when I watched him play as a sophomore last season. During another in-person scouting opportunity in Week 3 of 2025, he was continuing to realize it. On a night when his team leaned on the running game, Milliman did his part blocking up plays. His frame lends itself to him being an asset in this regard, as it also aids him in being a tough matchup when the ball is thrown his way. On the other side of the ball, Milliman played a key role in tamping down a potent Mount Vernon passing attack. He operates smoothly in coverage, using his speed, athleticism and long arms to lock down. And, again, his size and physicality make him a factor in run support.

With height, length and a projectable frame, Milliman is one to watch in 2025. Position versatility should be attractive to college scouts that seek good athletes they can mold into successful performers in their systems. Guys that can play receiver and defensive back in high school keep open more doors to the next level. Milliman fits that description as we see during his sophomore highlight video. The first clips reveal is flexibility at receiver. Milliman operates well taking short passes and turning up field for big gains, he can deliver over the middle on intermediate routes, get deep and blocks in the running game. He’s active and physical on defense with a possible future at linebacker or safety.
