St. Thomas, North Dakota, Northwest Missouri State, Drake, Morningside College and Upper Iowa played host to him for visits. I then caught him in person at the Back 2 Ballin 7-on-7 tournament last month and <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2026/04/stars-shine-at-midamerican-7v7-back-2-ballin-high-26/" id="https://prepredzone.com/2026/04/stars-shine-at-midamerican-7v7-back-2-ballin-high-26/">filed a report</a> from there. South Dakota State visited him at Bettendorf High during January and hosted him for a junior day a week later. He visited Drake and Upper Iowa this spring. He visited Upper Iowa for a game in October. The new Iowa State staff visited him in Knoxville at the end of January. He visited St. Thomas in March and Minnesota State visited him at school last month. At the beginning of May, he stopped at Indiana State. It's a projectable frame that could continue developing at that position, grow into a tight end or find a home on defense. He regularly overpowers the person across from him, whether he's plowing through him while opening up holes in the running game or crashing through the O-Line as an interior defensive lineman wrecking plans.</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A state wrestling qualifier this winter, Scheffler understands leverage. It's suprising there isn't more interest, but time still is on Scheffler's side. Like he does on his <a href="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/19757945/68f55f6c3d533836b9a7d5db" id="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/19757945/68f55f6c3d533836b9a7d5db">junior highlight video</a>, Milliman proved to be one of the <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/11/scouting-reports-state-semis-3a-guys-on-the-rise/" id="https://prepredzone.com/2025/11/scouting-reports-state-semis-3a-guys-on-the-rise/">more intriguing athletes</a> on the field whenever he was on it. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Colleges have come around to the possibilities with the versatile Milliman, even if his recruiting process is slow relative to his potential. Iowa and South Dakota visited Solon this winter. In February, he attended a South Dakota State junior day and visited with Penn. He stopped at Iowa, Drake and North Dakota State in April. Upper Iowa, Northwest Missouri State, Valparaiso, Northern Illinois and St. Thomas visited his school this spring.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Milliman would do well to hit up as many of the college camps to which he's been invited. That group includes, among others, Kansas State, Drake, Princeton, Syracuse, Purdue, North Dakota State, South Dakota State, Eastern Illinois and Colorado State.
