Aveon Cobb Aveon Cobb 5'8" | 165 lbs | RB/WR Saint James Academy | 2027 State VA transferred in from Riverdale Baptist and it didnt take him long to get on our radar with his 32nd overall ranking with the 2027 class. Cobb is dangerous with the ball in his hands another game changer at Carter’s disposal. It will be interesting to see how Coach Overton uses him on offense, he gashed his former Hayfield squad a few times last fall.

Transferring to St. James Academy, Aveon is a name you will want to remember. An elusive running back with speed, he is an offensive playmaker who can be used in multiple ways on the field. He displays very good vision and creative ability in the backfield, with quick reaction to penetration and the elusiveness and speed to avoid a loss. Very good short-area quickness allows him to force missed tackles at the second level, and he has the speed to outrun most he will face on a high school field. While on the smaller side in size, he keeps his legs moving and does a good job at keeping his momentum moving forward through contact when defenders wrap him up. Currently holds an offer from Delaware St.
