At 6’0” 180 lbs. Brenner is a dynamic defensive playmaker from his Strong Safety position. Great natural feel and awareness with a nose for the football and a knack for creating turnovers. Smart player and quick processor to read and react to his keys. Flashes good all around game speed and range to fly around the field and be a sideline to sideline defender. Whether dropping into coverage or coming downhill in run support, he brings a physical edge and delivers violent contact as a tackle. Takes good angles of pursuit and accelerates his feet at the POA to finish ball carriers to the ground. His instincts and motor allow him to be around the ball constantly and he plays with the kind of energy and aggression that changes momentum. A high impact player that can be a difference maker on both sides of the ball.

Brenner is on the breakout radar coming into the 2025 season after splitting time between JV and varsity as a sophomore. The 6’/180 DB out of McQueen has flashed promising upside in his coverage skill this offseason and showed his physicality as a tackler in his time on varsity last season. Has a strong frame for his SS spot and looks comfortable in both man and zone coverage. Look for Brenner to put his name on the radar with a breakout junior season in 2025.
