Stock Risers- Defenders Who Jumped Up Our 2026 Rankings

With our new 2026 Rankings Update, we saw a lot of defenders move up several spots on our list!   Tonight, we're looking at some of the top Stock Risers in our Rankings!   These guys are seriously talented and have huge years ahead of them, make sure you watch some of their tape below!    [player_tooltip player_id='1603669' first='JJ' last='Bush'] is a dominant EDGE out of Theodore who rose all the way up to the #13 spot after how he played last fall.   "At 6'3 206, Bush plays with a ton of speed and pursuit to consistently hunt down the ball carrier almost every snap. It's seriously impressive watching Bush go to work in the trenches. He has a great pairing of speed and power and can bully offensive linemen into the backfield to create huge stops. Bush also has a ton of value as a pass rusher- he has a ton of different moves he uses to get off the edge and pressure and take down opposing quarterbacks.   What really stands out with Bush's tape is just how athletic he is at his size- he's incredibly fast and has even made some huge plays at RB and as a returner on special teams."   Bush has seen his name blow up in the recruiting world, picking up offers from Baylor, West Virginia, Houston, and more!   Make sure you watch some of Bush's junior season below, he has a massive year ahead of him this upcoming fall:      [player_tooltip player_id='1222932' first='Carnell' last='Jackson'] is a dominant NG out of Auburn who now sits at our #32 spot on our list after how well he played last fall.   "Standing at 6'3 320, Jackson has his size, strength, and power to consistently dominate the line of scrimmage and make huge plays against the run and pass. He explodes off the line, clogs up running lanes, and is a reliable tackler upfront who doesn't allow the ball carrier into the open field. Jackson also moves really well at his size- he can make some impressive plays in pursuit, has a great motor, and consistently finds ways into the backfield nearly every snap."   A few weeks back, Jackson announced his commitment to Arkansas! I'm seriously excited to watch him play this year and in the future, he has a ton of different skills that will take him a long way.   Take a look at what Jackson can do below:      I became a HUGE fan of [player_tooltip player_id='1314954' first='Demetrius' last='Wilson'] earlier this offseason, and in our new update, he is now our #33 prospect in the state.   "At 6'3 290, Wilson is massive and gets great penetration on the LOS every single snap, no matter what offenses are trying to do. He explodes off the line, has violent hands, and can completely overwhelm OL with his combination of speed and power.   Wilson commands so much attention up front and still finds ways to work into the backfield to create plays for loss. He's a dominant run defender who eats up space, closes up rushing lanes, and finds his way to the RB every single carry."   Wilson was unstoppable for Jackson's defensive front last fall, ending the year with 81 total tackles (50 solo, 20 for loss), 4 sacks, 8 hurries, and one FF/FR.   Over the last few months, Wilson has picked up offers from Samford, North Alabama, Georgia State, and more! Hall is dominant against the run- he flies downhill, fills in lanes, and racks up tackles at and behind the line of scrimmage. It's rare to see opposing RBs get into the open field against him, Hall consistently creates huge problems for offenses up front.   Hall is just as effective against the pass, he's a talented blitzer who can provide great coverage all over the field and make plays every down. It's really impressive seeing how well-rounded of a defender Hall is, his future at the high school and collegiate level is really bright.”   Hall has seen his recruitment open up a ton recently, picking up offers from Virginia Tech, James Madison, and Southern Miss! "Williams is dominant at safety and every down playmaker who flies around the field to provide terrific coverage and run support. Williams plays with a ton of speed and can easily cover lots of ground to make some impressive plays.   Williams really impresses me with how well he plays single high. He's patient, tracks the ball, and never lets anybody get behind him for explosive plays. Williams is also reliable against the run- he consistently flies downhill to fight off blocks and wraps up the ball carrier down near the line of scrimmage for little to no gain."   Williams has found a lot of attention this offseason, picking up offers from Florida State, Mercer, Georgia State, and more!
