Jayshod Pearson Jayshod Pearson 5'10" | 170 lbs | DB Florence | 2026 State AL is a really impressive DB out of Florence who had a huge season in their secondary last fall.
Pearson is incredibly reliable in coverage. He has some of the best ball skills I’ve seen recently and does an unreal job breaking on passes and getting his hands on the ball to break up and pick off passes. On top of that, he’s a dependable tackler who wraps up well and doesn’t allow for any extra yards.
Pearson also adds a ton of value on special teams. He’s an explosive returner who uses his vision and speed to navigate the field and put his team in great starting field position. Whether he’s on defense or special teams, you can count on Pearson to produce- he’s a really talented player who should pick up more attention over the next few months.
