About Mason

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I work on my craft of route running, I’m able to create good separation, have great hands and understand the game and how it’s played. I can make plays for my team and love the game of football. Very smart offensively and defensively, have good reaction speed and timing. Physical on all aspects of the game. Played both ways all year (Slot,DB) while winning the 5A State Championship for Idaho.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Hard working, smart and I want to win. Will do what I need to for the team’s success and know I can match up with anyone who steps on the field. Lead by example and let my skills showcase my ability to play football. Always wanting to learn and grow as well as family relationships with my coaches and players. Work hard in the classroom and will graduate with my associates. Work hard at my job.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Play 7’s on a competitive South East Idaho team called Air Raid. Have received academic awards from school and my peers.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I lead by example and let my play of the game do the talking. I’ve trained with some solid dudes that have played at the next level and in the NFL. I try to ask as many questions and soak up as much information as possible. My knowledge for the game is very good. I would call myself a quiet leader as I get the job done but don’t buy into the trash talk and just go out and make plays.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I work full time while going to school and do my training. I’m graduating with my Associates degree and able to maintain a 3.9 gpa. I’m also the oldest and a big brother to my 3 younger siblings. It’s been difficult at times to manage my time but with the help and support of my parents, coaches and friends it’s has been worth it as this will prepare me for the next level.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’ll be attending ISU, Montana Tech, Carroll as of now but will be looking at others. I have received other junior day invites and will be attending one in Caldwell Idaho where Eastern Oregon University, Pacific University, Rocky Mountain College, College of Idaho, and more will be at.

Davis checks into our final rankings update for the 2026 class and is slated in as one of the top at his position. He is a very good two-way athlete for Hillcrest and has natural ball skills, short area twitch and body control in the open field and flashes he can create seperation downfield and make contested catches with ease. Defensively, he plays with disciplined eyes, breaks quickly to the ball and is a high IQ player both in the passing game and when coming down in run support on the perimeter. He is a no-brainer D3+ caliber prospect that has been flying under the radar to this point but should see his recruitment rise through his senior year.
