Henry Everts picked up his first offer from Miami-Ohio. The big outside linebacker for Westfield, who has a prototypical frame for his position, is starting to get the attention he rightfully deserves. This is only the beginning for Evert, who has also visited Notre Dame and Indiana over the past couple of weeks.  Everts also plays tight end and wide receiver, only adding to his value.

Henry Everts Henry Everts 6'3" | 215 lbs | TE/ATH Westfield | 2028 State IN is primarily a tight end for the Shamrocks, but the staff is excited because he has the positional flexibility to play all over the field including at wide receiver and even outside linebacker. Everts has immense potential. He has a great size-speed combination and great ball skills with good adjustment high/low. His willingness to leap and catch in traffic and still come down with possession of the ball is uncanny. Expect him to have a breakout junior season.

Everts is a rising TE who has the frame and athletiscm you look for at the position. He’s a true end-of-line TE who can seal the edge and help block in the running game. He’s fairly quick off the line and has good hands. He’s able to make catches off his body and use his strong hands to keep it through contact. I like his ability right up the seam and the target that he gives his QB. He had a good sophomore year and looks to be trending in the right direction as they roll into their upperclassmen years.

Everts has the build and skillset to be a true end-of-line tight end. He’s physical at the point of attack and does a good job helping in the run game. He’s got a sturdy frame and understands leverage, which makes him a reliable blocker. But he’s not just a body up front because he can get into routes, make catches in traffic, and knows how to use his size to his advantage, especially in the red zone. There’s a lot to like here as he rounds out his game.

Everts is a big-bodied tight end who already stands at 6’3″ and 200 pounds, and he knows how to use it. He’s a strong, multi-sport athlete with the physical traits to be a true in-line tight end. He holds up well as a blocker and can anchor the edge, but he’s also capable of slipping out and making himself a target in the passing game. With his size, strength, and athletic background, he’s got a chance to grow into a real problem at the position.
