The big versatile tight end should see a significant boost in the passing game, cant imagine too many linebackers being able to keep up with his speed.

He too will most likely play both ways his hulking frame and quick feet should go along nicely at outside linebacker.

Zion is a Tight End and Linebacker prospect. Shows good blocking and receiving ability as a Tight End. Wins with strength and physicality. He can align tight or split out in the formation and has the athleticism to operate in space as a blocker and receiver.

At 6’2″ Zion runs every route hard and has solid route running for his size. During this past season Rice remained open or made himself an available target for his quarterback to make a play. Rice plays the Tight end position well with decent blocking abilities at a high level. Now that the season is over rice remained being a hard worker by and having that dedication to be the best out there on the field. Keep a close eye out for this prospect entering his junior year because he is going to show you to not overlook him.

While Jackson and Smoot may have more varsity experience, Rice has a ton of potential too. Good size and length already, he is athletic enough to play multiple positions for the Eagles.

I could see him being used as a tight end on offense and an hybrid outside linebacker. He will play a lot and is important particularly for Coach Purnell’s defense.

He is 6’0 and 190 lbs. and he is not done growing, I expect a bigger role for him offensively in 2025. Rice will be sure a go to target for Jackson as he was most of the weekend.
