Grayden Reid Grayden Reid 6'3" | 185 lbs | DB Atherton | 2028 State KY continued to prove that he is one of the top overall players in the state this season. Reid lines up at corner where he locks down his side of the field in man coverage. You won’t see great coverage stats for him because quarterbacks don’t target him as receivers simply can’t get open against him. He does a great job of jamming receivers off the line of scrimmage then opening up to mirror their routes, staying in their hip pocket the whole time. Grayden has shown solid ball skills when he is targeted, recording one interception this season. Reid has also shown the ability to provide support against the run, finishing this season with 48 tackles and two tackles for loss in 13 games. He also recorded one sack and made an impact on offense as a sophomore, catching five passes for 145 yards and two touchdowns. Reid currently holds several Power 4 offers and I expect that list to continue to grow over the next two seasons.
