As a freshman at CAL last season, Grayden Reid Grayden Reid 6'3" | 185 lbs | DB Atherton | 2028 State KY established himself as one of the best man coverage corners in the state, regardless of class. He does a great job of opening up and using his speed to run with receivers to mirror their routes, staying in their hip pocket the whole way. In the rare occasion that a quarterback tests him, Reid has shown the ability to fight across the intended receiver to break up the pass. He has also shown the ability to provide run support, finishing last season with 42 tackles and one tackle for loss. Reid has also shown the versatility to play safety when asked to do so. Grayden currently holds multiple Power 4 offers and I expect more to come his way over the next three seasons at Atherton.
